How to Build a Solid Body Electric Guitar – VIDEO

This is a great video series by Perry Novak from Guitwild. It covers all aspects of building a solid body electric guitar. You’ll find instruction on gluing up the body blank, routing the body cavities, cutting the neck, installing the electronics, stringing the guitar and everything in between.

Guitar Headplates

Although guitar headplates are most often selected because they are aesthetically pleasing, they also serve a functional purpose of reinforcing the scarf joint (where the neck and the headstock are joined).

Most of our headplates match the guitar drop tops that we sell, so you should be able to find a pretty close match.

If you don’t see one that will work with your top set, or if you need a different size or thickness, let us know and we’ll do our best to find a close match for you.
